With a final image in the theme of predators and carnivores, here is a look at two Pitcher-Plants (Sarracenia purpurea) beginning to blossom, once again along the Rose Point Trail. If you look off the trail and into the marsh and pond areas you can see more, floating on logs with the blossoms peeking above their surroundings. (June 2015)
