Here is a better look at the fungi mentioned yesterday. It was probably 50 cm (18″) long and about 20 cm (8″) tall. (September 2015)
Well it’s October which means pumpkins, Hallowe’en and the colour orange. This is a fungus I found growing on a fallen log along an inner path of the North Shore Rugged Trail.
