The ‘Egg’ on the North Shore Rugged Trail, an erratic. I’m not sure how I feel about this image and what it displays. Taken with a flash the image has a bit of ‘pop’, but it highlights vandalism on the trail as evidenced by the handprints. No, this is not the remnant of some ancient civilization, but one could argue that it is the product of ‘primitives’. Another example of why we can’t have nice things in Parry Sound. (December 2016)
Hi Jo,
I love your photography and I enjoy opening up my computer early in the morning to your photos.
Today was the second time that I have seen the phrase, “That is why we can’t have nice things in Parry Sound.” The first time was in the paper.
I disagree. We do have nice things.
So, here’s a challenge for you: how about featuring the ‘12 days of Christmas Nice Things’? (in Parry Sound)
The first pic can be of Tower Hill.
An idea. Enjoy your day,
Nora.
Nora: I’m actually working on directed studies right now, so no need for a homework assignment. Why don’t you give it a try? You have the equipment, and with such easy access to social media you already have an audience. Start with 12, and you might wish to build it up to 365.
We have nice things and, too often, not so nice behaviour in Parry Sound. Let’s not ignore either.
