At this point we are getting on to an hour after sunset and there is some light in the western sky that is reflected off the Big Sound. A note about hiking on the North Shore Rugged Trail. Things get tricky after the sun goes down. The rocks are jagged and slippery close to the water’s edge. So only go out if you have a good light and sturdy shoes. It’s hard to get lost, just stick to the shore, but it’s easy to slip and fall. (August 2016)
