Heading back to the Smelter Wharf from further along the North Shore Rugged Trail after sunset. With your back to the setting sunset and with colour reflected from a blue sky, it can be quite bright and airy, even this late in the day. Looking away from the sunset the sky isn’t shades of orange, rather it’s blue and pink. (February 2016)
