The recent rain and the impending change of seasons seems to have brought out these little beauties along the Rose Point Trail. I believe they are Chanterelles, quite tasty from what I read. (August 2015)

They don’t look like Chanterelles to me. Their stems are not smooth enough and the colour is wrong.They are also found in the pine forests not along trails. Nicky
