Redwood1890-20150719-_DS66777One of the most common wildflowers alongside the roads of the Greater Parry Sound Area this time of year is Queen Anne’s Lace. Here is an immature blossom. It’s notable that at this stage of development it has pink blossoms ringing the usually white florets. Also note that the centre has a ‘heart’. (July 2015)
