Drier than the Sahara Desert. Not only is it freezing, about -30° C (-22° F), the relative humidity, at about 60%, represents less than 0.3 g/m³ of water in the air. The Mojave Desert, at +30° and 10% relative humidity has 3.0 g/m³ of water in the air, about 10 times as much. It’s an ice and snow ultra-desert today in Parry Sound complete with snow, rather than sand, sculpted by the wind. (February 2015)
