Nope, this isn’t part of a Parry Sound missile defense system. It’s just the navigation buoy by the Smelter Wharf pushed over by the ice and pretty much buried under the snow. As of yesterday we have substantial ice on the Sound, about 8 inches (20 cm) I was told by one fisherman (ice fishing of course). It will be thicker by the time you read this post. (January)
