A day early. The Winter Solstice was officially at 6:03 PM on December 21st. Unfortunately the sky was clouded over that day (21st) and the day after (22nd). But the day earlier, the 20th, provided a glimpse of the sun as it set over Parry Island. That’s about as far north as the sun will ever get as seen from the North Shore Rugged Trail. (December 2014)
