The Canadian Coast Guard Station – one of the sites available to the public next Saturday, September 27th, as part of Parry Sound’s Doors Open (www.doorsopenparrysound.com). This is your chance to get past the gates and take a peek. While the whole facility won’t be open, the public will have the chance to wander around the various buoys and markers and visit the artifacts exhibit. Sorry, no rides aboard the Samuel Risley. Correct, I revised the post only after it was sent out. Hopefully people who subscribe to the post checked out the website and were properly informed before heading out on a rainy day in Parry Sound.
