I may look pretty tough, but what if I told you I’m only 8 inches long? Would you think I’m cute? A juvenile snapping turtle caught crossing the Rose Point Trail.

The land alongside the Rose Point Trail is still pretty much flooded with the Spring waters but it’s receding quickly. (May 2014)
This an interesting shot in that the water lilies are still 6 to 12 inches under water and getting ready to ‘pop’. I’m not sure how red the leaves actually are,
With the warmer weather there was the opportunity to launch the Flea into the bogs and creek along the Rose Point Trail and take some images at water level. So far
