We Need More Snow
The limited snow we have received so far this year has meant for easy hiking on the trail. But we’ll need much more if we hope to get the water levels up this summer.
This is a view looking north from the Rugged North Shore Hiking Trail Trail that starts from behind the salt pile on the Smelter Wharf. On the left you can see Zhiishiib Rock (also known as Sheshe and She-she Rock), sticking out like a beached whale with the current low water conditions.
